Wenzile Harley Dube is a photographer (b. 1999) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. They grew up in Botswana and are currently based there. Wenzile’s photography is concerned with
attempting to represent African queer bodies and creating imagery that also speaks on the African diaspora. Their images garner inspiration from a variety of different media such as
music, books and other photographers’ work but is heavily influenced by cinematic language. Wenzile is self-taught and has been working as a free-lance artist since 2017. They
shoot with both film (35mm) and digital cameras.
