Godelive Kasangati Kabena was born in 1996 in Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She currently lives in ACCRA, Ghana. She received her painting diploma from the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Kinshasa (DRC) in 2020. Her photographic work deals with questions of personal and cultural identity, memory and place.
ARSÈNE MPIANA

Photojournalist, artist and educator. Born 14 June 1992 in Kinshasa, Arsène Mpiana is a freelancer for Der Spiegel, Jeune Afrique, Agency France-Presse, the New York Times and libération.fr. He has exhibited at the Biennale Yango 2, Halle de l'étoile in the 7th Biennnale of Lubumbashi 2022 and at the Rencontres de Bamako in2022/23. Mpiana exhibited in London in an exhibition entitled "Breaking The Mould: New Signature from the DRC Congo" at the198 Contemporary Arts and Learning (2021). He is currently the Head of Photography Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa.
