Part Time Advanced Course
OVERVIEW:
The 10 month Advanced Photography Course is aimed at individuals who are already technically proficient and would like to create a focused body of work, and smaller projects around a particular theme or concept. The course teaches practical and theoretical development of concept and narrative, exploring a critical approach to image making in our local context. By engaging a variety of research processes involved in the building of a contemporary visual narrative, you will reflect upon the use of photographic technique to create and express meaning.
The course includes modules on Portraiture and Landscape Photography, Critical Photographic Theory, Visual Culture and Literacy and Professional Practice.
Duration: 10 months
Venue: Through The Lens Collective, Fox Street Precinct
Class times: Thursdays and Fridays
10am – 1pm (times may vary)

R11 500 - plus a registration fee of R1500 non refundable
